I think when we listen to guys talk about girls, we're getting "insider information" that we can either use, or just enjoy hearing, like getting to see backstage at a show. But when girls talk about boys, they are either 1) talking about guys we don't find at all interesting/attractive, so it's boring, or 2) talking about guys we do find interesting/attractive, so they are competition. ![Smile [:)]](/emoticons/emotion-1.gif)
Also, I have no patience for drama! And some girls love to make everything into a tale "it was soooo important" or "it was the worst thing ever" and... no, it's wasn't, and if you act like it is, I just don't want to hear it.
I really like haning out with other women who have at least enough in common with me that I can emphathize, and who are different enough that I can learn something or get a new perspective. I love my writers group - we are so different, but we have a common bond, and it's great.
