Because God was sure that women, in contradistinction to men, are able to suffer that. And now men feel deprived of their due share which make them prove that they are not so 'weak' as God thought... So, who is the "stronger sex"? Cool [H] (kidding, though... but many a true word is spoken in jest... Now this is where I disagree with Lana. I really can't classify having a baby as "suffering". It's true that we need a lot of mental and physical strength to last through a year of what most people would call "h e l l", but in the end.. it's worth it. One year of suffering is more than worth a lifetime of reaping its rewards. Smile [:)]

In fact, the idea of having a life totally dependent upon you - when you're aware of it's every heartbeat, every movement - seems to more than compensate for all the pain, sickness and sleepless nights.

Essentialism or existentialism?

Umm.. splitting threads seems to be way tougher than it seems. Tongue Tied [:S]

Anyway, here are the rest of the messages that had been posted in the previous "Do men need to feel superior to their women partners?" thread. For obvious reasons, I've deleted the rest of that one.

Here you go - hopefully you can make sense of what's going on!

Oh, Joy! Of course I agree it's worth it! "Suffering" is just one side of that, but the other side is worth it beyond doubt. No disagreements here.

Big Smile [:D] hahah...i can see your women's nature, you will certainly be great mums(or "are ). but if we're more rationale on this matter, we cannot find out as much the positive side as you imagined"?Thinking [*-)].  the mother will suffer for giving birth while the father will suffer paying the bills, and they both will be deprived of their time and their own lifes... it will be a stupid and extremly horrible thing, espcially for a young couple to have babies

I'm not sure that I understood this properly but if the question is having or not having babies, of course the answer is YES.

If the discussion is about "who is a stronger sex" regarding God's choice to give that gorgeous feeling to a woman, again Yes, in my opinion only.

On the other hand God played a cute game and make it impossible without a man, so 50:50 and we are done,

Make love and babies, not a war,
