I see what you mean. American films are usually really bloody and that stuff, while the Asian ones are much less bloody, yet they are far more scary. I completely agree with you here Tangsen. What's the problem in watching blood pouring? Moreover American films most often haven't a real plot, too. They just have a blood-thirsty fool that goes in places and kills people in horrbile ways. Whatever, I like American films as well. Big Smile [:D]

you know, the american movies always show horrible in those way: cut foot, head ,crash by car, by container.... and blooooood everywehere, but those scene just shock your eyes, and you may feel sick, but you may not scared.

asian movies (especially the japanese) make you feel cold in your mind. different from amcrican movies, aisan movies always take use of the ghost[not the corpse] who wannt revenge the human beings as the plot.

anyway, if you don't believe there is no ghost in the world, you may feel no scared at all Smile [:)]

recommend you to see the following movies if you like.

Ringu http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0178868/

Ju-on http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0364385/

I couldn't help re-watching "Dance with a stranger" last night. It's the story of Ruth Ellis, the last lady to be hanged in Britain.

Hello everybody,

Reading this thread made me realize that I saw many movies lately. So I thought I should contributeWink [;)].

First of  all I saw Pride and Prejudice. It was very good but I still prefer the BBC version with Colin Firth in it.

Then I saw The Family Stone. It was such a waste of time, despite the excellent actors. I don't know, the story was just too shallow.

And this weekend I saw Nanny McPhee. Again another movie with Colin Firth and the lovely Emma Thompson. It is a great movie if you have a young sibling to take with you. My brother enjoyed it a lot, and I was not bored too.

These were the ones I saw at the cinema. And I watched one on DVD last Friday: "Rosemary's Baby". An old movie by Roman Polonski. An American horror movie, but believe me, there was no blood at all Smile [:)]. I guess it won't scare  any of you guys who seem to enjoy horror movies. But I couldn't take my eyes of the screen wondering what is going to happen next. And Mia Farrow was also great.  Has anybody seen it? If so let me know what you think.

Take care all
