I  would think about adoption, because a pregnancy at that age is dangerous first of all for the baby!

I would certainly take the risk. But if the baby was found to have some major defects or disabilities, I think it would be kinder to have an abortion and adopt afterward.

I'm not very certain about this decision, though - I'm way nearer fourteen than forty, so I guess I have a lot of time to think about this!

I would adopt... I think trying it out and then the baby not being healthy is too much of a game, coz abortion would never be an option for me

IMHO: If your genetics have allowed you to conceive at a later age, good on you!

Some people say it's better for a species to reproduce later in the life cycle, as it produces a stronger species over time. They say this is due to the fact that organisms with weaker genetic code will be less likely to reproduce at later stages in life.

(Pregnancy at that age, i'm guessing, would be more dangerous for the mum than the baby)

Microsoft is not the answer. Microsoft is the question. NO is the answer.

you're right, but when I said it would be more dangerous for the baby I meant that the baby could be born with malformations or diseases...for example trisomy-21 (I don't know if it is the right way to call that in english, sorry)

Though I'm not likely to ever be pregnant, I wouldn't suggest a lady to risk two lives. Hers and the baby's. She can try again and if it's impossible then she can still adopt. I baby from a woman's womb is something very special but she can also give the love she stored for her natural baby to the one she'll adopt. Many a woman does that, and it works pretty well.
