There you go, Dan. You can make an idea relating to the distance from Ukraine.

Seli, the place is amazing! I envy you!

Have you ever been to Apuseni? I think that's my next goal To see landscapes like this (and sheepflocks, like in your images. So cute!)

In comparison with Ukrainian distances, this is not that far away. But, considering mountaneous landscape, it may take a lot of time to go round all those sights due to the twisting road. Anyway, I think it'd be great to rent a car to see this beauty with my own eyes in the future - including Bran, of course!

For example, my mother's cousin and her husband travelled around the Balcans on their own car. As far as I remember they visited Moldova, Romania, Serbia and Chroatia - they got a great deal of excitement and saved lots of money (while bus tours cost much more...).

Thanks for the interesting information, Diana and Seli! I hope I'll be able to realize my plans.

It doesn't matter from where you are. All the cultures and nationalities are interesting and valuable! That's why TCP is welcome to everyone!

I really hope that you will be able to realize your plans, Dan. I am sure that you will, someday. Don't forget to visit Bran Castle..

You're so lucky, Seli! Hmm, Moldavia is not that rich in sights. You sholud see perhaps Slanic Moldova (which is tiny and almost in ruins, but I thinks that's exacly what makes it beautiful), the Muddy Volcanoes, Iasi and its sorroundings (Bucium hill is nice, you can see the whole Iasi from upthere). What else?  Not that much, really...Transylvania is the spectacular part of Romania.

Dan, it would be really easy to visit Romania, belive me. You should try it in the near future. We'll provide the consulting .
