These are a few of my favourite pictures that I took lately. Some are not tipical Romanian, but they are things that make me love the place I live in:
I made a lot of photos with dandelions, but they always seem uninteresting and the same. But at a closer look, a dandelion may be astonishing.

Oh, that was an encounter! I heard this little lizzard running through the grass, scared of the sound of my footsteps, and I tried to follow it without scaring it. And perseverence brought more than I could hope: the lizzard stopped, returned and climbed a weed and it was staring at me!! There were only 5 cm between my camera and the lizzard! I'll never forget ![Big Smile [:D]](/emoticons/emotion-2.gif) .
And some wonderful little bugs. The light draws beautiful colourful patterns on them. Such tiny jewels...
And another species of bug or lizzard, I wasn't able to identify...

I was surprised when someone asked me on TCP if in Romania is very cold. Perhaps some people associate Eastern Europe with communism, which is correct..and Siberia, which is incorrect, he he. So, here are my latest photos, taken in a very small watering place called Slanic Moldova, which is locatedin the Nemira Mountains, a group in the Oriental Carpathian Mountains. This place is amazing because on a surface of a few tenths of square meters there are at least 15 different springs, each of them having it's own taste and it's own benefits for health. While you are looking to the photos, try to imagine the wet and salty air, smelling of moss and mushrooms...
